Pakistan, May 22 -- Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif was informed during a special meeting that the province possesses abundant wheat reserves, with a record production of more than 22 million metric tonnes achieved this year.

Chairing a high-level meeting on wheat, agriculture and food safety & consumer protection, the chief minister said, "Alhamdulillah, Punjab has sufficient wheat stocks."

The meeting decided to establish an AI-based advanced live dashboard to safeguard every grain of wheat in the province.

The briefing informed the chief minister that the live dashboard would play a pivotal role in foolproof food policy-making by monitoring wheat demand, supply, stock levels and price control mechanisms.
