Pakistan, Sept. 9 -- The Punjab government will launch electric bus services across 91 tehsils from January 2027. The provincial government plans to deploy 1,500 electric buses during the initial phase. Authorities have also approved dedicated electric bus depots for each tehsil. The first batch of buses is expected to reach Lahore in January. The plan aims to expand clean and affordable public transport across Punjab.
