Pakistan, Sept. 9 -- Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif has directed the establishment of a Special Road Maintenance Squad in every district to ensure daily inspection, maintenance, cleanliness and timely repair of damaged roads across the province.

Chairing a special video-link meeting here on Tuesday, the CM directed commissioners and deputy commissioners to closely monitor ongoing development projects in their respective districts and ensure timely completion in accordance with approved designs, materials and technical standards.
