Pakistan, Oct. 13 -- Punjab Minister for Information and Culture Azma Bokhari has clarified that Punjab Police has not arrested Iqrar-ul-Hassan. She said the matter was being investigated. The family of Iqrar-ul-Hassan would be informed as soon as any verified information regarding him became available.

However, the Iqrar's family claimed that he was reportedly taken into custody during a late-night raid at his residence in Lahore's Defence Housing Authority (DHA) in the early hours of October 12, 2026.
