Pakistan, Oct. 27 -- The Punjab government has decided to form a dedicated authority to promote tourism and preserve cultural heritage. The Punjab Tourism and Heritage Authority Act 2025 will soon be presented in the provincial assembly. Officials confirmed that the Act aims to streamline tourism management and encourage sustainable development across the province.

The authority will be chaired by the Chief Minister, with the Tourism Minister serving as vice-chair. Secretaries of Tourism, Finance, and Planning & Development will act as members. This structure is designed to ensure government oversight and smooth coordination with related departments.
