Pakistan, Dec. 7 -- A seven-year-old boy tragically died after falling into an uncovered manhole in Dhanote town near Lodhran on Saturday, prompting swift action from Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz.

The chief minister expressed condolences to the grieving family and immediately ordered the transfer of Lodhran Deputy Commissioner Dr. Lubna Nazir following the incident.The victim, Rehan, a prep-class student, was returning home from a local market when he fell into a manhole estimated to be nearly 20 feet deep, according to initial reports.
