Pakistan, Oct. 4 -- Punjab Chief Minister (CM) Maryam Nawaz Sharif has been invited to Muscat to receive the prestigious UN-Habitat Scroll of Honour Award 2026 for Punjab's "Apni Chhat Apna Ghar" program.

The award will be presented to CM Maryam Nawaz Sharif at a ceremony to be held at the Oman Convention and Exhibition Center in Muscat on the occasion of World Habitat Day.

The CM will attend the ceremony on a special invitation for the award, said a handout issued here on Saturday.

CM Maryam Nawaz has dedicated the UN-Habitat Scroll of Honour Award to the homeless people of Punjab, saying the international recognition was an honour for those without homes.
