Pakistan, May 13 -- Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz has launched a revenue-based district development model across the province. She announced multi-billion-rupee projects aimed at strengthening local financial autonomy and improving infrastructure delivery. The initiative is intended to ensure faster development and greater accountability at the district level.

Chairing a high-level meeting in Lahore, Maryam Nawaz reviewed development plans presented by commissioners from multiple divisions. She stressed that development must deliver real on-ground results rather than cosmetic improvements. She directed officials to remain active in the field and ensure public relief through visible progress.
