Pakistan, July 21 -- Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif on Monday launched the Punjab Health Connect Programme, an initiative aimed at improving healthcare services in the province by engaging leading overseas Pakistani and foreign specialist doctors and surgeons to provide free treatment and professional training in government hospitals.
Launched on the directions of the chief minister, the programme seeks to strengthen Punjab's public healthcare system through international medical collaboration by bringing globally experienced healthcare professionals to serve patients in public hospitals.
