Pakistan, Aug. 19 -- Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz on Tuesday announced that Basant Lahore 2027 will be held from March 12 to 14, inviting people from across Pakistan and abroad to join the three-day spring festival.

Sharing a teaser video announcing the dates, the chief minister described the event as a major celebration for Pakistan and the world.

"After successful Basant 2026, I am proud and happy to announce Basant Lahore 2027!" she said in a post on X.

Maryam said Lahore would once again come alive with "colour, culture, festivity, music, energy and legendary hospitality" during the celebrations.
