Pakistan, Oct. 11 -- The Punjab Board of Revenue's Full Board meeting for the fiscal year 2025-26 was held under the chairmanship of Senior Member Board of Revenue (SMBR) Nabeel Javed, focusing on modernization, transparency, and institutional reforms in revenue administration. More than a dozen agenda items were discussed during the session.
The Board reviewed proposed amendments to the Land Revenue Act 1967, Land Revenue Rules 1968, and the Punjab Land Records Authority (PLRA) Act, aimed at aligning existing laws with modern governance requirements. The Board also considered a new legislative framework for the Real Estate Regulatory Authority (RERA), proposed by the PLRA, and approved it in principle.
