Pakistan, June 1 -- LAHORE - In a major move to protect families during Eidul Adha, the Punjab Home Department has officially banned all temporary mechanical rides across the province during the holiday period. This decision comes amid rising concerns about public safety, especially involving children.

According to the notification, only permanently installed mechanical rides located in registered amusement parks will be allowed to operate. However, these rides must have valid fitness certificates and pass all required safety checks. Owners are required to get approval from their respective Deputy Commissioners before operating.
