Pakistan, July 1 -- The Punjab government has announced financial assistance for families affected by the Kahna tuition centre roof collapse that claimed the lives of 14 children and injured several others in Lahore. Adviser to the Chief Minister Zeeshan Malik said each family of the deceased will receive Rs2 million, while every injured child will be provided Rs500,000 to support medical treatment and recovery.
The tragedy occurred at a tuition centre operating inside a residential house in Lahore's Kahna area.
