Pakistan, Dec. 6 -- The Punjab Environment Department seized two Punjab University buses in Lahore on Friday for releasing excessive smoke on roads. The vehicles were stopped during the ongoing anti-smog campaign. Officials said both buses lacked mandatory environmental fitness certificates.
According to a department spokesperson, the buses were caught emitting visible smoke during routine monitoring. The inspection team immediately impounded the vehicles. Drivers were questioned about the absence of proper documentation.
