Pakistan, Oct. 14 -- The Pakistan Textile Council (PTC) has written to Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif urging the government to preserve the Export Facilitation Scheme (EFS) for all legitimate export inputs and to reject demands for further exclusion of yarns and fabrics.

In a letter signed by Chairman Fawad Anwar, copies of which were also sent to the Chairman FBR and Secretary Commerce, PTC appreciated the government's actions to curb misdeclaration and misuse of the scheme and expressed full support for enforcement measures.
