Pakistan, Aug. 20 -- The Pakistan Telecommunication Authority and Google have signed a memorandum to strengthen child safety, digital awareness and responsible internet use across Pakistan.

The new Child Safety Programme will help parents, teachers and caregivers gain practical tools and resources to guide children through the digital world safely and responsibly.

Moreover, the initiative will produce awareness material in English and local languages, making online safety guidance easier for families and children across different communities.

Training programmes will also be introduced in educational institutions, while a nationwide campaign will connect millions of families with localised safety resources and online tutorials.
