Pakistan, Sept. 10 -- The benchmark KSE-100 Index of the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) continued with its bearish trend on Wednesday, losing 698.56 points, a negative change of 0.40 percent, to close at 171,943.60 points against 172,642.16 points recorded in the previous trading session.

The ready market witnessed a trading volume of 477.674 million shares, compared to 722.624 million shares traded in the previous session, while the traded value stood at Rs 22.637 billion, down from Rs 27.942 billion. Market capitalisation decreased to Rs 19.233 trillion from Rs 19.295 trillion recorded a day earlier.
