Pakistan, June 2 -- The benchmark KSE-100 Index of the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) witnessed a bearish trend on Monday, losing 3,362.62 points, a negative change of 1.93 percent, closing at 170,600.20 points against 173,962.82 points on the last trading day, according to PSX data.

During the session, the ready market recorded a trading volume of 589.759 million shares with a traded value of Rs 31.984 billion, compared to 555.064 million shares valuing Rs 40.878 billion in the previous session. The market capitalization declined to Rs 18.876 trillion from Rs 19.166 trillion a day earlier.

Out of 489 active companies in the ready market, 168 advanced, 296 declined, and 25 remained unchanged.
