Pakistan, June 9 -- The benchmark KSE-100 Index of the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) witnessed bearish trend on Monday, losing 1,525.24 points, a negative change of 0.89 percent, closing at 168,953.71 points against 170,478.94 points on the last trading day.

During the session, the ready market recorded a trading volume of 657.971 million shares with a traded value of Rs 22.594 billion, compared to 727.167 million shares valuing Rs 26.753 billion in the previous session. The market capitalization declined to Rs 18.750 trillion from Rs 18.928 trillion a day earlier. Out of 494 active companies in the ready market, 116 advanced, 336 declined and 42 remained unchanged.
