Pakistan, Aug. 7 -- The benchmark KSE-100 Index of the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) maintained its bullish momentum on Thursday, gaining 1,761.66 points, a positive change of 0.98 percent, to close at 181,776.60 points against 180,014.93 points recorded in the previous trading session.

The ready market witnessed a trading volume of 793.353 million shares, compared to 740.559 million shares traded in the previous session, while the traded value increased to Rs40.313 billion from Rs35.907 billion. Market capitalisation also climbed to Rs20.264 trillion from Rs20.090 trillion recorded a day earlier.
