Islamabad, Jan. 14 -- The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has invited bids for the Multan Sultans franchise ahead of the 2026 Pakistan Super League (PSL). The board took over the team last month after owner Ali Tareen stepped down. The 11th edition of the PSL is scheduled from March 26 to May 3.

The technical bid proposal is set for January 20, 2026, at 3 pm. The PCB said the process presents an opportunity for investors to participate in the "new era" of the HBL PSL. Multan Sultans has an established fan base and history in the league since 2018.
