Pakistan, June 21 -- Pakistan People's Party (PPP) MPA Naeem Ahmed Kharal passed away here on Sunday after protracted illness, his family sources confirmed.

Naeem Ahmed Kharal was elected on Sindh Assembly constituency PS-30 Khairpur in general election held in 2024. President Asif Ali Zardari, Sunday, expressed his deep grief and sorrow over the death of Naeem Kharal, a PPP member of the Sindh Assembly.

The president prayed for the high ranks of the departed soul in Jannah and for the bereaved family to bear the loss with fortitude, President Secretariat Media Wing said in a press release. He further paid tribute to late Naeem's political, social and public contributions.
