Pakistan, April 25 -- The provincial government on Friday introduced a revised wheat procurement model under a public-private partnership (PPP) with the Food Department extending logistical support to streamline the process.
District Food Controller (DFC) Israr Khan Maggasi, while speaking said that five procurement centers had been established across the district to facilitate wheat purchasing.
He explained that under the new policy, wheat would be procured by private buyers through an open bidding process, ensuring transparency and competitiveness.
