Pakistan, March 19 -- Authorities in Murree are preparing for a massive influx of tourists over the Eid ul Fitr holidays, with the local police issuing safety and traffic guidelines to ensure smooth operations.

According to District Police Officer Dr. Muhammad Raza Tanveer, 400,000 to 500,000 visitors are expected to travel to Murree during the holiday period. Last year, traffic records show that on the first day of Eid, 28,688 vehicles entered Murree, followed by 51,380, 57,855, and 35,119 vehicles over the next three days. Judicial orders limit daily vehicle entry to 8,000, though this number may rise to 12,000 during peak days.
