Pakistan, Sept. 19 -- The Pakistan Medical and Dental Council has revised the BDS fee structure for dental students. Under the new policy, students will pay tuition fees for four years only. The five-year Bachelor of Dental Surgery programme will remain unchanged. Students will receive tuition-free education during the final year.

PMDC issued a new notification detailing the revised implementation of the BDS programme. The council also withdrew its earlier notification concerning the programme's duration and fees. Under the updated arrangement, students must still complete five years of study. However, they will only pay tuition during the first four years.
