Pakistan, July 13 -- Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif departed for Qatar on Monday on a one-day official visit to express condolences over the passing of former Emir Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani, reaffirming the close and longstanding ties between Pakistan and Qatar.

According to the Prime Minister's Office (PMO), Prime Minister Shehbaz is accompanied by PML-N President Nawaz Sharif, Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar, and Minister for Information and Broadcasting Attaullah Tarar.
