Pakistan, April 14 -- Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has rescheduled his planned visit to key regional countries, with Saudi Arabia now set as the first stop of his diplomatic tour.

According to sources, the prime minister will depart for Saudi Arabia before heading to Qatar and later Turkey. The visit is aimed at holding consultations with friendly nations on important diplomatic and regional matters.

During his stay in Saudi Arabia, Shehbaz Sharif is expected to meet Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman. The meeting will focus on strengthening bilateral relations between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia, as well as discussing key regional and global developments.
