Pakistan, Sept. 18 -- Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has expanded the fuel relief scheme to include older motorcycles and rickshaws. Vehicles registered after January 1, 2006, will now qualify for the government's petrol subsidy. The move aims to extend relief to more low- and middle-income transport users.

The Prime Minister's Office said motorcycles, rickshaws and Qingqi rickshaws can now register under the scheme. The government will provide Rs100 per litre in petrol relief to eligible users. The decision covers vehicles that meet the newly revised registration requirement.
