Pakistan, Aug. 16 -- The Punjab Food Authority (PFA) team on Saturday raided an illegal slaughterhouse in the Saggian area and recovered 700 kilograms of foul-smelling, expired meat.
According to spokesperson, during the inspection, the 700 kg of unwholesome meat was found. Meat safety team inspected that meat had turned blue and confirmed to be infected with multiple dangerous diseases. Severe hygiene violations, including a heavy infestation of flies and insects, broken flooring, stagnant dirty water, and fungus-covered walls, were also observed at the premises.
