Pakistan, July 21 -- Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian said late Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei had repeatedly called for ending the long-standing state of "no war, no peace" with the United States. His remarks came as military tensions continued to escalate across the Gulf region.

Speaking at a National Industry and Mining Day ceremony, Pezeshkian said Khamenei had stressed the need for a new approach in private meetings. He added that Iran's negotiations had been guided by national honour, wisdom, and dignity while safeguarding the country's interests.
