Pakistan, Aug. 31 -- Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian said Tehran does not seek war after a US attack on Larak Island. However, he warned that Iran would respond firmly to further aggression. His remarks came after the reported weekend attack and marked his first comments on the incident. The statement highlights Iran's position amid continuing regional tensions.

Pezeshkian spoke before leaving for Kyrgyzstan to attend an international summit. According to Fars news , he warned against any further attacks on Iran.
