Pakistan, Aug. 13 -- Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian held a telephone conversation with Japanese Prime Minister Shigeru Ishiba on Wednesday.

During the call, Pezeshkian said Iran does not seek instability in the region. He blamed US and Israeli military actions for worsening regional security.

Pezeshkian said recent attacks had caused civilian casualties and damaged critical infrastructure in Iran. He also referred to casualties among civilians and children at a school in Minab.
