Pakistan, Sept. 22 -- The government has increased petrol prices by Rs4.61 per litre while reducing the high-speed diesel rate by Rs1.96. The revised prices will take effect from Tuesday, September 22.

Petrol will now cost Rs393.75 per litre, while high-speed diesel will sell at Rs422.08 per litre. The government continues to collect Rs114 per litre in taxes and duties on petrol. Diesel carries Rs100 per litre in taxes and duties.
