Pakistan, Aug. 20 -- The government has announced new petroleum prices for August 21, increasing both petrol and high-speed diesel prices. The Petroleum Division issued the notification on Thursday.

According to the notification, the price of high-speed diesel has increased by Rs1.64 per litre. The new diesel price now stands at Rs364.70 per litre.

Meanwhile, the petrol price has also increased by 27 paisas per litre. The new petrol price has been fixed at Rs337.78 per litre.

The latest revision will apply from August 21 under the government's updated petroleum pricing structure. The Petroleum Division confirmed the changes through its official notification.
