Pakistan, Aug. 21 -- The government has increased dealers' margins on petrol and diesel by Rs1.34 per litre, effective from midnight.

According to sources, the increase will raise the dealers' margin on both petroleum products to Rs9.98 per litre.

The Cabinet Division has issued an official notification confirming the margin increase. The revised rates will take effect from midnight.

Previously, dealers received a margin of Rs8.64 per litre on both petrol and diesel. The latest increase raises the margin by Rs1.34 per litre.

The decision affects fuel dealers across the country and changes the amount they receive from each litre sold.
