Pakistan, July 28 -- An important meeting of the Provincial Disaster Management Authority (PDMA), Sindh Emergency Rescue Service 1122 and the Directorate of Mobile Diagnostics and Health Services, all operating under the Rehabilitation Department, was held at PDMA Headquarters under the chairmanship of Adviser to the Chief Minister Sindh for Rehabilitation, Gyan Chand Essrani.

The meeting reviewed in detail the preparedness measures, contingency planning, resource availability and response mechanisms to deal with possible rainfall and flood situations during the 2026 monsoon season.
