Pakistan, Aug. 2 -- The Punjab Disaster Management Authority (PDMA) has reported low-level flooding at the Kalabagh and Chashma points along the Indus River, while water flow in most other rivers across Punjab remains within normal limits. The authority said the situation is being closely monitored as the fourth spell of monsoon rains continues, raising concerns about increasing river levels and weather-related emergencies in vulnerable areas.
According to the PDMA, water levels in the Chenab, Jhelum, Ravi and Sutlej rivers remain normal, while conditions in the hill torrents of Dera Ghazi Khan have also returned to normal.
