Pakistan, Oct. 7 -- Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) is reviewing Salman Ali Agha's role as T20I captain. Though selectors and coach support him, concerns about his performance have risen. The discussions started after Pakistan's three losses to India in the Asia Cup. His batting was weak, scoring only 72 runs in seven matches. Officials also questioned some of his tactical decisions during the final.
Salman has led Pakistan in 30 T20I matches. The team won 17 games but lost 13 under his leadership. He scored 557 runs, including four half-centuries, during this period. Selectors compared him to India's captain, Suryakumar Yadav, who also struggled at the Asia Cup. They argue that leadership and consistency take time to develop.
