Pakistan, July 25 -- The Pakistan Business Forum (PBF) has urged Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif to immediately review the daily petroleum pricing mechanism. The business body said the current system is placing additional financial pressure on businesses and consumers.

In a letter to the prime minister, the PBF said the existing pricing formula has created uncertainty for the business community. According to the forum, the mechanism has also contributed to arbitrary increases in the prices of essential consumer goods.
