Pakistan, May 13 -- Pakistan has achieved a new milestone in sailing as two women from the country have successfully completed the first stage of qualification to become international sailing judges.

Zoya Asad Ali and Mehnaz Jameel participated in an international seminar organised by World Sailing in Thailand, where they also successfully cleared the required examination with strong results.

Their achievement marks the first time Pakistani women sailors have completed the initial course required to qualify as international sailing judges, according to sports officials.
