Pakistan, Sept. 1 -- Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting Attaullah Tarar on Monday said the search and rescue team has reportedly located the body of Pakistani climber Dr. Asma Mushtaq "beyond the Camp-III" on the Spantik peak of Gilgit Baltistan.

"The team is assessing site conditions and finalizing arrangements for safe recovery and controlled evacuation to Base Camp, considering the high-altitude terrain and associated risks," the minister said while sharing a latest update about the Spantik Peak Search and Rescue operation in a post X formerly Twitter.

Separately, an Irish tourist has gone missing while returning from Musa Ka Musalla, a 13,500-foot-high peak in the scenic Siran Valley of Mansehra.
