Pakistan, Oct. 6 -- COLOMBO - Pakistan's women's cricket team endured their second straight defeat in the Women's World Cup 2025, falling to arch-rivals India by 88 runs in Colombo on Sunday. After winning the toss and opting to bowl first, Pakistan restricted India to 247 - marking the first time they have dismissed India in a complete One-Day International (ODI) innings.
However, the Green Shirts' batting order once again collapsed under pressure, managing only 159 runs in 43 overs, falling well short of the target. The defeat drew harsh criticism from fans, who expressed disappointment at Pakistan's continued failures against India on major stages.
