Pakistan, July 7 -- The federal cabinet on Tuesday approved Pakistan's first four-year Hajj Policy and Plan for 2027-2030 to improve pilgrimage management through digitalisation and long-term planning. The new framework aims to enhance services and streamline Hajj operations for Pakistani pilgrims. The decision marks a major shift from the previous annual Hajj policy.

The policy was approved during a cabinet meeting chaired by Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif.
