Pakistan, July 5 -- Pakistan is set to screen five films at the 2025 SCO (Shanghai Cooperation Organization) Film Festival, taking place from July 3 to 7 in Yongchuan District, Chongqing, southwest China.
Speaking at the festival's opening ceremony, Minister of State for education and Professional Training, Wajiha Qamar expressed pride in Pakistan's participation, highlighting the selection of films as a vibrant reflection of the country's creativity, culture and storytelling spirit.
The lineup includes:
Allahyar and the 100 Flowers of God - an animated film that combines adventure with an environmental message,
Umro Ayyar: A New Beginning - a fantasy epic inspired by Eastern folklore,
