Pakistan, Oct. 5 -- Security sources confirmed that Pasni Port in Balochistan will be operated on a commercial basis, but its security will remain exclusively under Pakistan's control, with no foreign involvement permitted. The proposals aim to boost trade and investment while ensuring that the responsibility of national defense is never outsourced.

Officials highlighted that the port is expected to play a crucial role in transporting Pakistani minerals to partner nations. However, while economic partnerships will be encouraged, security will remain a matter strictly handled by Pakistani forces. They stressed that Pakistan's stance is clear: cooperation is welcome in commerce, but sovereignty over defense will not be compromised.
