Pakistan, June 16 -- Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has announced that Pakistan will host the ceremony for the peace agreement between the United States and Iran in Geneva. Addressing the National Assembly, he described the development as a major diplomatic achievement and said the US-Iran peace agreement marks a victory for dialogue and diplomacy over conflict.
Speaking in Parliament, the prime minister said that after a period of heightened tensions, the prospects for peace have emerged. He stated that both the United States and Iran had declared a permanent end to military actions on all fronts and had demonstrated patience, wisdom, and restraint during difficult circumstances.
