Pakistan, Aug. 8 -- Pakistan has firmly restated its stance of not recognizing Israel, following the founding principles set by Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah. Foreign Office spokesperson Shafqat Ali Khan made this statement during a weekly press briefing. He also confirmed that Pakistan continues to follow Jinnah's vision regarding Palestine and Israel.

During the briefing, the spokesperson shared details of the recent visit by the Iranian President on August 2-3. The Iranian leader, invited by President Asif Ali Zardari, visited Pakistan with a high-level delegation. Both countries signed trade and diplomatic agreements during the visit. President Zardari strongly condemned Israeli attacks on Iran.
