Pakistan, May 8 -- The total liquid foreign reserves of Pakistan increased to US$ 21,293.5 million as of April 30, 2026 while the reserves held by the State Bank inched up to $ 15,850.7 million.
"During the week ended on 30-Apr-2026, SBP's FX reserves increased by US$ 23 million to US$ 15,850.7 million," the central bank reported on Thursday in its weekly statement on the position of liquid foreign reserves.
Meanwhile, the foreign reserves held by the commercial banks increased by $ 1.7 million to $ 5,442.8 million during the period under review, the break up of forex reserves depicted.
