Pakistan, Aug. 30 -- Pakistan's crude oil production declined by 1% during the week ending August 23, while gas output increased by the same margin. Average daily crude oil production fell to 67,556 barrels from the previous week's level. Meanwhile, average daily gas production climbed to 3,027 million cubic feet per day (MMCFD).
The latest industry data showed mixed performance across Pakistan's oil and gas sector. Gas production increased from 2,995 MMCFD recorded during the preceding week. However, the decline in crude oil output reflects a slight drop in overall domestic production.
