Pakistan, April 25 -- Pakistan has been ranked 16th globally in the 2026 Global Outsourcing Talent Index, marking a strong position among leading digital economies. The development is significant as it highlights Pakistan's growing role in the global IT and outsourcing industry. It also reflects rising investor interest in the country's expanding digital workforce.

Shaza Fatima Khawaja said the ranking places Pakistan within the top nine percent of 193 countries assessed in the index. She noted that Pakistan has outperformed several advanced economies, including the United Kingdom, Germany, and France. The country is also ranked ahead of multiple emerging tech hubs such as Vietnam and China in certain categories.
